It is located northeast of the state of Chiapas in the region of the Lacandon Jungle, including in the municipalities of Ocosingo and Las Margaritas. Their access is possible along the road south border.

It is the largest of evergreen forest in the country, its preservation is vital to maintain our biodiversity and environmental services.
