Located 252 kms of Palenque, by the Border Road South.

Lacanjá

Lacanjá, located on the edge of the Montes Azules Biosphere, near the ruins of Bonampak, is the largest community in the south. The Lacandones are the only ones who were hunting is allowed in the reserve.

The most recent outside influence is the new road that passes just 10 km. of the community.
