Lacanjá
Lacanjá, located on the edge of the Montes Azules Biosphere, near the ruins of Bonampak, is the leading community in the south. The Lacandon are the only ones who are allowed to hunt in the reserve.
The most recent external influence is the new road passes about 10 km from the community.
