HANDCRAFTS OF SAN CRISTÓBAL: As one of the most important economic centers in Chiapas and the most important of the Highlands, San Cristobal de Las Casas draws featuring handmade amber samples, textiles, pottery, toys, baskets and many other products.
HANDCRAFTS OF COMITÁN: Toys, woodcarving, paper cutting, basketry, leatherwork and woodwork, are some of the practices that can still be reached at the workshops through the streets of Comitan, survive and continue to fuel popular art in Chiapas.

TEXTILES: From Huixtan to Ocosingo, textiles are part of the rich craftsmanship of the region. In Huixtan, color and joy of their tissues dress their villagers, while in Oxchuc, already in the Tzeltal, the color continues both in textiles and in celebration of their festivals. The region of Ocosingo colorful exposes huge textile production, mostly in blouses and ornaments that proudly carry their women. |
POTTERY OF AMATENANGO DEL VALLE: As part of the landscape of the Plains, pottery of Amatenango offered to tourists by the roadside showing an endless variety of objects made entirely by the hands of women, cooked in the open as in pre-Hispanic times.
